CBoxx Business Modeller is dynamic web-based software for Business Change Specialists working with financial advice firms to manage long term change in their business model. It is currently being used to illustrate:

Business Modeller can be branded and bespoked as required to fit the needs of your organisation. It is built using the latest Microsoft .NET technology and may be deployed to individual computers (e.g. consultant laptops) or as part of an existing extranet service.

Model Inputs

  • Clients: segmented by Funds Under Management. Each segment has its own business mix, fee structure and relationship to variable costs and staff time capacity;
  • Staff: their roles, advice/admin time, relationship to client segments, remuneration, recruitment costs;
  • Business Costs: marketing, operational, authorisation, professional fees, business loans etc.
  • Revenue Models: commission styles, business mix, fee structures by segment and also by traditional or platform based service.
  • Business Value: Any of the common industry metrics and factors may be applied to examine the value of a business now and over time. The same may be applied to the What-If model for comparison;
  • Assumptions: RPI, AEI, Investment Rates of Return etc. For example, you can model a Firms ability to withstand a sustained downturn in the market.

Many inputs may be varied over time allowing you to model the effects of change.
